The SoCal Tides Baseball Program continues to expand and grow in San Diego County, including the Poway, Kearney Mesa, Santee, and South Bay regions. As a Travel Baseball Club and Academy, our Program offers opportunities for all ages and skill levels with a goal of developing and preparing ALL players for success on the field and in life.
Whether looking for a Travel Team or just looking to develop/get quality reps, we encourage all players to come and check out our Program. With Little League in session, our Program’s Academy offers “drop-in” opportunities for Players to get extra development and reps in a group setting or with private lessons.
Please call or email for details. We understand that joining a program can be intimidating and/or overwhelming, however the SoCal Tides are ready to answer all questions and concerns.

The SoCal Tides had a total of 6 teams competing in the Annual North Country Turkey Tournament in Clairemont on November 24th and 25th! All 6 teams fought hard and represented with pride. The Tides partnered with the National Stars, California Waves, and players who came up from Mexico to join our rosters for the weekend. In the end, our 16U team won the championship in their division!
And coaching is focused on the mental side of the game just as much as the skill development. Another thing we needed. Tides also have their own indoor practice facility, which is about as good as it gets! Again, high reps with both fielding and hitting, along with fun games on their HitTrax system! Just last night the kids all got at least 150 cuts each in the facility cages - with HitTrax measurements! ..Super fun AND productive all the time.
Coach Kenji, along with the other coaches provides leadership that holds the players accountable yet provides an environment for them to learn and excel with lots of one-on-one instruction and feedback.
The tides facility and institutional coaching are outstanding, as Kenji has created a strong organizational base for all age divisions to work from. As a parent, communication has been great. Not only daily scheduling for practices and games but communication for player expectations, as well as organizational lessons for all players to study.
I could keep going, but our experience has been fantastic, and we love being a part of this team and organization.
